Accra, April 6 – Mr Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Presidential Spokesman and Minister of State in charge of Government Communications, has announced the arrival of the first 100 29-seater buses in Ghana.
The buses are part of the Government’s efforts to tackle transport challenges across the country.
- These 100 buses are the first installment of a total of 300 buses procured to improve road transport.
- Second batch: 100 buses expected in August 2026
- Final batch: 100 buses scheduled for November 2026
Mr Kwakye Ofosu said the initiative aims to ease congestion and enhance public transport efficiency nationwide.
