Ho (V/R), March 6, — Businesses recorded brisk sales while music fans enjoyed an evening of entertainment as Ghanaian dancehall artiste Stonebwoy headlined the Torcher Experience concert in Ho.
The event, held on March 5, 2026, attracted hundreds of patrons and traders to the Adaklu Youth Resource Centre, where the much-anticipated concert formed part of activities marking Ghana’s Independence Day celebrations.
The programme aimed at promoting youth development, entertainment and regional pride while creating opportunities for local businesses.
Many attendees described the concert as lively and well organised, noting that it brought renewed excitement to the Volta Regional capital.
Boost for local traders
Food vendors and drink sellers operating around the venue reported increased sales as large crowds gathered for the event.
Madam Akosua Nyarko, a food vendor, said the programme significantly improved her earnings compared with ordinary trading days.
“Tonight has been very good for business. Many people came to enjoy the music and also bought food and drinks,” she said.
Stonebwoy thrilled the audience with energetic performances of some of his popular songs, drawing loud cheers from fans throughout the night.
The musician also used the platform to encourage young people to demonstrate patriotism and contribute positively to national development.
Organisers described the concert as an entertainment initiative designed to promote tourism, strengthen community ties and support local enterprises.
They said the strong turnout highlighted the growing role of entertainment-driven events in stimulating economic activity and social cohesion in the region.
