Ho, March 6, — Ghanaian dancehall star Stonebwoy delivered an electrifying performance in Ho, drawing thousands of fans to the Youth Resource Centre for a concert that doubled as a celebration of Ghana’s Independence Day and the artiste’s birthday.
The event, dubbed “The Torcher Experience,” took place on March 5 in the Volta Regional capital, popularly referred to as the “Oxygen City,” and attracted music enthusiasts from across the region.
Organisers said the venue reached full capacity as supporters gathered to celebrate the BHIM Nation leader, whose music and stage presence have earned him a strong following over the years.
Energetic performance
Throughout the night, Stonebwoy kept the audience engaged with a series of energetic performances, delivering a selection of his popular songs while encouraging fans to mark the Independence Day celebrations with pride and patriotism.
The concert atmosphere was lively as fans waved handkerchiefs, sang along and illuminated the venue with the lights from their mobile phones.
At one point during the performance, a large birthday cake was brought onto the stage, prompting the crowd to join in singing “Happy Birthday” to the artiste.

The occasion highlighted the continued support Stonebwoy enjoys among fans in the Volta Region, many of whom described the concert as a memorable moment for the local entertainment scene.
Mr James Gunu, the Volta Regional Minister, joined the musician and his family on stage to cut the birthday cake.
He described the event as one that had helped rekindle excitement in the region and noted that such gatherings could contribute to promoting tourism and social cohesion.
The concert formed part of activities leading into Ghana’s Independence Day celebrations on March 6, blending entertainment with national pride.
