SSNIT Deputy D-G calls Trust a “reliable banker”

Sunyani, Bono Region, March 16, 2026 – Mr Adam Sulley, Deputy Director-General for Operations and Benefits at the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT), has described the Trust as a reliable institution for employees seeking financial security, urging participation in its schemes.

Speaking at a regional forum in Sunyani, organized with the Trades Union Congress (TUC), he highlighted SSNIT’s strong asset growth, which rose from GHC20 billion in 2024 to GHC25 billion in 2025, and advised employees to ensure that their monthly contributions are properly remitted by employers.

Mr Sulley also encouraged members to use SSNIT’s digital platforms, allowing them to access services conveniently from home or work without visiting offices. He stressed that the long-term benefits of SSNIT remain substantial, offering financial stability for members.

Mr Joshua Ansah, TUC Secretary-General, praised SSNIT’s outreach, saying it enhances transparency, accountability, and workers’ understanding of the Trust’s operations, and encouraged all employees to enroll and take advantage of its services.
