Accra, April 6, – Law enforcement in the Ashanti Region has successfully recovered a 2019 Honda CRV stolen from the residence of lawyer Alfred Gyimah. The unregistered vehicle was taken on April 2, 2026, and reported missing the following day.
The Ghana Police Service’s Intelligence Directorate tracked down the vehicle along the Bohyen–Asoufia Highway at Asobonteng, near Kumasi Girls Senior High School, on April 4, 2026. According to a police brief, the perpetrators reportedly gained access to Gyimah’s apartment through the kitchen and took the ignition keys from the dining table before driving away with the SUV.
Authorities say investigations are continuing to identify and arrest those responsible for the theft.
