Dormaa-Ahenkro (Bono), March 18, – President John Dramani Mahama has expressed confidence in Ghana’s economic resilience, stating that the nation is well-positioned to weather external shocks amid ongoing global uncertainties.
Speaking at a groundbreaking ceremony for a 24-hour economy model market at the Dormaa-Ahenkro Tuesday Market, the President highlighted the economy’s stability despite international tensions, including the Israel–US conflict with Iran.
“Our economy has strengthened and is capable of absorbing external pressures. I am confident it will continue to withstand these global challenges,” he said.
The President, who is in the Bono Region for the Regional Accountability Series, is also scheduled to meet with local chiefs, inspect GETFUND educational projects, and review progress on key road infrastructure, including the Jinijini–Sampa Road and the Sunyani Outer Ring Road.
