Accra, March 3, – Ghanaian emerging artiste Kemidar has released his latest Afro-fusion single titled “Dedzo,” a romantic tribute inspired by celebrated dancer Endurance Grand.
The song, now available on major streaming platforms, reflects the singer’s admiration for a woman he portrays as divinely ordained, gracefully crafted and worthy of reverence. Through layered Afro-fusion instrumentation, emotive vocal delivery and textured melodies, “Dedzo” underscores Kemidar’s artistic growth and expressive range.
Born Obed Asamoah, the 27-year-old musician hails from Kukurantumi and currently resides in Weija. He studied Music at the University of Ghana, where he developed the technical foundation that continues to shape his compositional style and performance craft.
Beyond his vocal talent, Kemidar is an accomplished guitarist and music producer. His integration of live instrumentation with contemporary Afro rhythms lends structural depth and sonic authenticity to his recordings, distinguishing him within Ghana’s evolving Afro-fusion landscape.
