Accra, Jan. 7, - Karim Zito, head
coach of Dreams FC has said, his side has helped Aduana Stars to identify their
weaknesses, before embarking on the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) Champions
League journey next month.
Coach Zito believes he has shown
Aduana side, where they have problems and it’s now up to them to find the right
solutions, before the championship begins.
The Ghana Premier League
Champions defeated Dreams FC by a lone goal at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to
secure their first victory in the 2017/2018 Ghana League Clubs Association
(GHALCA) G8 tournament on Saturday.
Speaking to the press after the
game, coach Zito said that the keenly contested fixture was a good exercise for
both sides and that Aduana Stars could easily identify their weakness before
commencing their CAF Champions League.
"Aduana Stars would
represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League and we wish them all the best of
luck. This was a very good game for both teams, I know I have given them a
problem to go and solve and this is the best way for them to prepare for the
competition.
"They are on course, they
have to go and do well for us," said Zito.
In the other fixture of the
GHALCA G8 tournament, Accra Hearts of Oak overcame Karela FC by 1-0 at the Cape
Coast Sports Stadium on Saturday. The Competition continues on Sunday as Asante
Kotoko battle Eleven Wonders at the Baba Yara Stadium whiles Medeama SC lock
horns with Ebusua Dwarfs at Cape Coast Stadium at 1500hrs GMT.
