Accra, Oct. 26, - The Deputy
Minister of Youth and Sports (MOYS), Pius Hadedzi has directed the FA Cup
Committee to reschedule the Kick off time for the Hearts / Kotoko encounter to
15:00 hours instead of the 17:00 hours announced earlier.
A statement issued on Thursday,
October 25 and signed by the Deputy Minister said the super clash involving the
two Ghanaian glamorous clubs should be rescheduled to start at 15:00 hours.
According to the Deputy Minister,
it was necessary for the time be changed considering the safety precautions and
also taking into account, the long distances fans of the two clubs would be
travelling across the country to watch the match.
It added that “the Ministry would
be grateful if the above directive is strictly adhered to by the MTN FA Cup
Committee.”
The match would be played at the
Tamale Sports Stadium on Sunday, October 29.
