Ho, Nov. 25, - Police in Ho have
arrested a 62 year old electrician for allegedly defiling an eleven year old
class five pupil.
Police Superintendent Benjamin
Aniah told the Ghana News Agency that the suspect, Freeman Kpeh, also known as
Satana alias Kwensah is an electrician domiciled at Tanyigbe Etoe, with the
victim in the Ho Municipality.
He said on November, 23,
afternoon, the victim reported to her parents that she entered the bath for a
shower when Kpeh pounced on her and defiled her.
Supt. Aniah said the screams of
the victim drew the attention of a neighbour who came to her rescue after
pulling Kpeh on top of her.
He said the victim had her clothe
torn with blood stains all over her body.
Supt. Aniah said the case was
reported to the Deme Police and later referred to the Central Police, where the
victim was issued with a medical report form to seek medical attention.
He said the Police would arraign
Kpeh this week.
